Matthew Scharfenberger is an associate at Bertram LLP. While studying at The George Washington University Law School, Matthew served as Student Editor-in-Chief of the American Intellectual Property Law Association Quarterly Journal. Before joining Bertram, Matthew interned for the Honorable Tanya Jones Bosier of Superior Court of the District of Columbia, Amazon Public Policy Americas, and the Managed Funds Association, and served as a Law Clerk for Senator Gary C. Peters of the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.
Prior to law school, Matthew graduated summa cum laude from Binghamton University, with a bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law. At Binghamton, Matthew served as a Board Member of the Student Conduct Board at the Office of Student Conduct and worked as a teaching assistant teaching writing and presentation skills to computer science students. He has played viola for over eighteen years and enjoys film photography.
